The ISHS, dating from 1864 and formally constituted in 1959, has more than 7500 members representing over 150 countries. It is the world’s leading independent organization of horticultural scientists and publisher of Acta Horticulturae, Chronica Horticulturae, and Scripta Horticulturae.
The aim of the ISHS is: “to promote and to encourage research in all branches of horticulture and to facilitate cooperation of scientific activities and knowledge transfer on a global scale by means of its publications, events and scientific structure”
Membership is open to all interested horticultural researchers, students and institutions.
