Nondestructive prediction of moisture content of lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle 'Paan') by multiple regression analysis of its electrical and physical properties (Ho Thanh Huong)

Electrical capacitance, inductance, and impedance (0.012, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 kHz) were measured, for predicting the water content of lime, with a coefficient of determination of 0.9 and measuring uncertainty of 1.8%. The results demonstrated the feasibility of the method.

Ho Thanh Huong won an ISHS student award for the best poster at the III International Conference on Agricultural and Food Engineering (CAFEi) in Malaysia in August 2016.
