Assistant/Associate or Full Professor Plant pathology - Agricultural entomology - Pesticide application theory - Agricultural chemistry - Plant nutrition
The Master Program for Plant Medicine and Good Agricultural Practice at the National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan invites application for one tenure-track or project faculty position.
The expected start date for the positions is February 01, 2023. The incumbents will develop externally funded, and high impact research programs associated with any aspects of the master program. The major duties include but not limited to: 1) teaching graduate-level courses; 2) mentoring graduate students; 3) obtaining external grants for research and teaching; 4) publishing in peer-reviewed journals; and 5) providing service to the master program, institution, professional societies, growers, field operators, and policy makers.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Candidates have experiences in field research and extension, and are confident to be a field consultant in at least one of the following fields: plant pathology, agricultural entomology, pesticide application theory, agricultural chemistry, and plant nutrition. Candidates should be able to teach one of the graduate-level courses in 'Plant Disease and Pest Clinic', 'Agricultural Pesticides-Pharmacology and Application', 'Agricultural Pesticide Prescriptions', and/or 'Diagnosis and Management of Plant Physiology Disorders'. Candidates are expected to provide service to the international collaboration projects and to teach in English for at least one course. The offer for the candidates as a tenure-track or project position will be decided by committee based on candidates' performance.

and course outlines; 5) a statement of research interests and plans; 6) a list of the applicant's publications; 7) a copy of a major publications from last seven years; 8) photocopies of the applicant's passport and ID; 9)Teacher certificate if applicable.
