WIND PRESSURE COEFFICIENTS DETERMINATION FOR GREENHOUSE BUILT ON A RECLAIMED LAND
General greenhouse is usually designed using wind load was affected by surface roughness of the rural area.
But, the characteristics of ground surface of rural area and reclaimed land are different with each other affecting the characteristics of the wind profile near the ground.
Compared to the field experiment, CFD simulation has strong advantages such as saving cost, time and providing exact and detailed data information for greenhouse study.
However, experimental validation must be initially conducted.
In the wind tunnel experiment, wind profiles of reclaimed land which are calculated by ESDU were designed and the difference rate between calculated wind profiles and measured wind profiles is 2.7%. Trend of the wind pressure coefficient values is qualitatively similar between wind tunnel experiment and CFD simulation.
But the CFD model is not reliable yet because differences of CFD model was high comparing with wind tunnel experiment.
So it is need to improve accuracy of the CFD model.
Then wind pressure coefficient according to various type of greenhouse will be estimated using CFD simulation.
