SUMMARY OF CULTIVATION PATTERNS AND TECHNIQUE FOR CONTROLLING MATURATION TIME OF GRAPE BERRIES

A cultivation pattern and technique management that control the maturing time of grape berries were applied in the construction of the International Grape Exhibition Garden. In order to control the grape berries’ ripening time effectively, there were five processes included in this cultivation pattern and technique management which were stock cultivation, natural dormancy outdoor, forced dormancy by low temperature storage, dormancy breaking in greenhouse and greenhouse management. By using this model, not only the advanced management technique was shown on the 11th International Conference on Grapevine Breeding and Genetics, but also “private custom” of grape production will be realized. Therefore, it has high economic and social benefit.
