THE RESEARCH ON THE GROWTH AND NUTRIENT ACCUMULATION REGULARITY OF ACTINIDIA GUILINENSIS
The dynamic changes in size and weight of fruits, and the contents of total acid, sugar, Vitamin C in Actinidia guilinensis fruit during the growth period of 1-24 weeks after pollination were determined. The results show that the growth curve of the length, greater transverse diameter and lesser transverse diameters is the shape of a single S, accompanied by only one growth peak during the whole growth and development period, whereas the growth curve of fruit weight in both species is in the shape of double S, accompanied by two growth peaks. The total acid amount reaches a peak 20 weeks after fruit set and then steadily decreases. The vitamin C content of the fruit increases during growth and after fluctuations eventually becomes stable when it equals the vitamin C 15 weeks after fruit set. The sugar amount of the fruit increases gradually with fruit growth and development.
