Evaluation of alternative nematicides for the control of root-knot nematodes
Fumigants are the main method of nematode control but alternative methods are needed with the increased regulations on the use of fumigants in California.
Trials have been conducted investigating the use of biological and new nematicide products that are not fumigants.
In these investigations we have identified some promising new products that potentially may replace fumigants as a method of nematode control.
