BIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DYNAMIC OPTIMIZATION IN GREENHOUSE CLIMATE CONTROL

The biological aspects of optimization of greenhouse climate control are described. A theory is developed to use simple models for different stages of plant development. In a practical experiment the temperature of the vegetative period of a wintercucumber crop was optimized. This optimum temperature was calculated from radiation, windspeed, greenhouse properties, energy price and product price.
