Fertigation on quality parameters of 'Palm Beach' gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii Bolus ex Hooker F.) under Shevaroy hills condition

A fertigation experiment during 2009-2011 was conducted to investigate the quality parameters of Gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii Bolus ex Hooker F. 'Palm Beach') in different fertigation schedules under Shevaroy hills condition at three levels i.e., 125, 100, 75% of recommended dose of fertilizer along with foliar spray of micronutrient mixture (0.004%) and humic acid (0.2%). Application of 100% RDF + 0.004% micronutrient mixture + 0.2% humic acid was most effective for improved flowering parameters like flower yield m^‑2, flower yield 1000 m^‑2, highest vase life and benefit:cost ratio.
