The development of agro-plasticulture in Latin America: 20 years of activities of the CIDAPA
The American continent is a wonderful space for the development of plasticulture, with an extraordinary variety of climates, which represent real challenges for agriculture and for the use of plastic materials, both for vegetable and animal production, respecting our environment.
In these 20 years of activities of the Latin-American Committee for the Development and Application of Plastics in Agriculture (CIDAPA), the development of plasticulture in America and the Iberian Peninsula has been actively promoted.
With great satisfaction for the work done, examples and figures can be shown, which support the development of plasticulture on this side of the world, from the north of Canada to the ends of Patagonia, between Chile and Argentina, passing through very hot climates. cold, in almost polar areas, through regions with temperate and subtropical climate, until reaching the warm zones of the tropics.
