Performances of genotypes selected from Tokat natural service tree (Sorbus domestica.) population (Selection II)
The aim of the present study was to determine the performances of service tree genotypes selected from Tokat region.
This work was achieved during 2015-2016, in Horticulture Research and Application Orchard in conservation parcel, at Gaziosmanpaşa University.
Phenological, morphological and some chemical analyzes were carried out with six genotypes.
At the phenological level the results show that, all the genotypes bloomed earlier than their own ecologies, and with lower rates of fruiting.
While for TSS and pH amounts, it was found that they have similar values where as; titratable acidity values found to be lower than their own ecologies.
In general, all genotypes had a lower crown volume.
The approximate average of a fruit weight and seeds lies between; 5.58-12.28 g and 1.61-2.59, respectively.
