Sanitation system in horticultural sector
Environmental sanitation has now become a priority in the food sector.
Fruit Control, historically recognized internationally, as a leader in the controlled atmosphere sector, has also invested in the sanitation sector with the use of ionizers for the removal of microorganisms in agri-food environments.
The present work reports results related to this technology on different products, both experimental and real situations in fruit and vegetable distribution platforms.
In particular, results are reported on table grape, radish and in a storage and distribution warehouse (storing several different cv. of fruits and vegetables, as pepper, tropical fruits, blueberry, apples, pears, table grape, chicory, etc.)
