EFFECT OF STORAGE CONDITION ON HARVESTED VEGETABLES AND THEIR MATEMATICAL SIMULATION

The respiration intensity R, the storability N and the evaporation koefficient Kw was calculated and tabulated for 50 vegetable species. Interaction between air temperature, air humidity an air velocity and between respiration and evaporation are formulated from experimental data. The results permit some mathematical simulation of vegetable storability and weight losses.
