CLASSIFICATION AND IDENTITY RESEARCH OF VARIETIES OF PHASEOLUS BEANS IN THE NETHERLANDS

A review is given of the number of applications for plant breeders' rights in the crop groups of Phaseolus beans in the Netherlands from 1946; numbers are given of commercialized varieties with and without plant breeders' rights from 1974–1983. A comparison is drawn with other countries of the common market.
