MICROPROPAGATION OF SEVERAL Rosa hybrida L. CULTIVARS

M. Valles, Ph. Boxus
Micropropagation of eleven Rosa hybrida L. cultivars is described. Quoirin-Lepoivre's salt solution is employed and different growth regulators are tested. AIB at 0.1mgr/1 reduces proliferation. BAP is needed at least at 1 mgr/1 for axillary branching and GA3 enhances it. Preliminar results on rooting shows different hormonal requirements in three cultivars.
