STUDY ON EFFECT OF SOME NUTRIENT MEDIUM FACTORS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHERRY AND SWEET CHERRY ROOTSTOCKS IN VITRO

The influence of 5 medium factors on the shoot-forming process of the rootstocks of Colt and Mazzard F 12/1 was studied by computer. Maximum quantity of additional Mazzard shoots was received on the medium, consisted of 2.3 mg of BAP, 45 g of sucrose, 700 mg of KNO3, O of IBA and O of gibberellin. Colt has been developed more intensively on the medium with 2 mg of BAP, 0.7 mg of IBA, 4.5 mg of gibberellin, 41 g of sucrose and 2200 mg of NH4NO3.

Jones nutrient medium, used for clonal micropropagation of cherry and sweet cherry rootstocks, requires optimization for realization of potential possibilities of each single sample. In our experiments we studied the influence of some factors on the additional shoot-forming on two vegetatively propagated cherry Colt and sweet cherry Mazzard F 12/1 rootstocks.
