PROBABILITY AND EXPECTED EFFECTS OF TOMATO IRRIGATION IN HUNGARY

L. Cselötei, Gy. Varga
Caused by the alternating weather of Hungary the water requirement of plants, among them of vegetable crops were satisfied annually in a different way. In accordance with this, in a bigger part of years more or less water supply is necessary, in other years the natural rainfall is enough for the development of a high yield; as for other yields, especially the yield of our warmth-requiring vegetable plants is hindered by the lower temperature or another effect.
