RESULTS OF FRUIT BREEDING IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA

In Czechoslovakia the fruit breeding programme started in 1956. At present the share of Czechoslovak varieties in the market assortment of fruit species amount sot one third, as to rootstocks, more than 90 per cent are of Czech origin.
