IMPROVEMENT TO INDUCE ROOTING OF FRUIT TREES IN VITRO

G.F. COLLET
To ensure good rooting of micropropagated cuttings of fruit trees, the composition of nutritive media during the multiplication phase, as well as an efficient pretreatment to induce rooting were studied and found to be equally important. A conclusion of this study is that the metabolism of auxin is conducive to the notion of the TRIGGER EFFECT of IAA inducing the rooting process.
