IN VITRO PROPAGATION OF SOME CITRUS ROOTSTOCKS

N. Tusa, G. Geraci
In order to obtain true to type plants from Citrus rootstocks, shoots derived from cuttings of Sacaton citrumelo, Troyer citrange and sour orange were cultured in Murashige and Tucker (1969) medium to which was added different levels of coumarin. The technique did not succeed because none of the explants formed roots.
