PRACTICAL ASPECTS IN THE PRODUCTION AND USE IN ELISA OF ANTISERA AGAINST VIRUSES IN BULBOUS CROPS
Over a period of ten years many antisera to viruses in bulbous crops have been prepared for use in ELISA. These antisera were mainly destined for use by inspection services (Derks, 1988). We have looked for suitable immunization and bleeding schedules for large-scale production of antisera.
In addition, methods of y-globulin purification and conjugation were compared.
In this article a summary is given of the results of these experiments.
