THE EFFECTS OF STRUCTURAL AND OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS ON EFFECTIVE OVERALL HEAT LOSS COEFFICIENTS FOR GREENHOUSES

Using a method of determining the overall heat loss coefficient of a greenhouse which allows for solar heat gain, the effects on this coefficient of variations in structural and operational parameters were investigated and found to be strongly dependent on the conductive and radiative properties of the cover, internal heat transfer and the operating conditions.
