Significant increase in flowering and good stem lengths were obtained in response to potassium application. Moreover; measurements of stem length and stem diameter, spike lengths, bulb number and the duration of the planting to flower emergence period, were performed for a better understanding of the mineral nutrition - flowering relationships.
