THE USE OF A PLANT HORMONE "BIOKOR" FOR PROPAGATION OF SOME WOODY ORNAMENTALS BY CUTTINGS

S. Stillinovic, M. Grbic
The paper deals with the use of domestic plant hormone "Biokor" (NAA) in propagating of a number of forest and ornamental trees and shrubs by different types of cuttings.

It has been concluded that optimum concentrations of Biokor were 0.1, 0.3 and 0.6%, depending on species and type of cuttings. Biokor primarily affects the shoot and root growth, rather that the percentage of rooting.
