THE EFFECT OF GROWTH REGULATORS ON FRUIT SETTING OF INTERSPECIES HYBRIDIZATION BETWEEN MEI FLOWER (PRUNUS MUME S. ET Z.) AND APRICOT (P. ARMENIACA) ETC.

Z. Qixiang
GA3, NAA and IAA, in various concentrations, were separately used to investigate the effect of these growth regulators on fruit setting of interspecies hybridization between different Prunus species. The best result was received after GA3 treatment at the concentration of 15 ppm; it gave an approximately three-fold increase of fruit setting compared with untreated groups.
