EFFECT OF GROWTH REGULATORS ON GROWTH AND THE BRANCHING OF ROSES "SONIA" AND "MERCEDES".
The effect of the growth regulators BA, Promalin, Ethephon, Alar, PP-333 and Atrinal on the growth and branching of budded roses was examined in a nursery.
The greatest number of basal shoots was produced when the roses "Sonia" and "Mercedes" were treated with Ethephon in a concentration of 1500–2000ppm and PP-333 in a concentration of 600–1000ppm.
Treatments, with the exception of Atrinal, didn't effect the height of plants.
