METHODS OF VEGETABLE SEED GERMINATION IMPROVEMENT
With the purpose of obtaining a better germination, vegetable seeds were primed in aerated solutions of polyethylene glycol (PEG-6000), KNO3 and K3PO4 7H2O. Germination energy and field emergence of seeds were increased by 17–22% by using aerated solutions of 0,4–0,5% KNO3 and K3PO4. Crop yield was increased by 21–28%.
