ADSORPTION OF ETHYLENE AND CARBON DIOXIDE BY ACTIVATED CARBON SCRUBBERS
Data from literature were collected and adsorption experiments conducted in the range of C2H4 - and CO2 -conc present in CA stores at temperatures between 2 and 20°C. From adsorption constant equations were calculated for parameters for the operation of scrubbers.
A chart is presented to judge quickly about suitable scrubbers and operation conditions in relation to the demand of a store, described by the capacity, i.e. the quotient of CO2 produced by CO2 conc.
