POMOLOGICAL TYPIFICATION OF OLIVE TREES IN VALENCIA

D.M. Salazar
In this paper we give the results obtained after the classification of trees which had been previously selected from the group of this species, together with their agronomic adaptability and suitability we have studied 34 cultivated varieties. The materials of greatest interest have been established for comparative study and biochemical characterization in a short period of time. We have controlled the flowering, ripening and evolution of oil production from the principle crops in each of the growing areas.
