REGENERATION OF TILLANDSIA THROUGH IMMATURE EMBRYO CULTURE
A micropropagation work was done as one means of conservation of wild origin species of Tillandsia and avoidance of their extinction.
With immature embryo in vitro propagation, a lot of Tillandsia cultivars was successfully cultured.
This technique also brought about a good multiplication rate of the regenerated plantlets.
