PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGIES APPLIED TO A FOREST TREE, THE AMERICAN RED OAK (QUERCUS RUBRA L.)

M. Rancillac, A. Klinguer, S. Klinguer
Plant biotechnologies were applied to the American red oak in our lab to improve the vegetative multiplication techniques for a rapid implantation of selected trees in France. Three main objectives are involved : micropropagation, regeneration and rejuvenation of adult materials. Results are shown concerning each of them.
