THE INFLUENCE OF JASMONIC ACID ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHASEOLUS VULGARIS SHOOT CULTURE

D. Benedicic, M. Ravnikar, N. Gogala
Stimulation of the number and the length of adventitious roots in shoot culture of Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Zorin was achieved under the influence of jasmonic acid (0.01 - 10μM). Higher survival of explants and stimulation of shoot elongation on medium with 1 and 10μM of jasmonic acid was obtained.
