IN VITRO TUBER INDUCTION: INFLUENCE OF THE VARIETY AND OF THE MEDIA
The present study investigates two important factors in the occurrence of in vitro tuberization in Solanum tuberosum: the genotype the medium composition (sucrose concentration, growth regulators type, and presence or absence of silver thiosulphate), and the effect of light; besides, the influence of the number of plantlets per jar (culture density) was studied.
