MICROPROPAGATION OF DECIDUOUS FRUIT ROOTSTOCKS

J. Pacheco, E. Diaz, R. Fernández
Deciduous fruit rootstocks (apples: 'MM 106', 'M 26', 'Eureka', 'Canelo'; pear: 'Triunfo de Viena'; plums: 'Myrobolan', 'GF8–1', and 'Ecuatoriano'; peaches: 'Blanco Comun' and 'Camuezo') have been micropropagated using a BP-2 culture medium. The multiplication rates get from 1 : 20 to 1 : 30. The harden plants can be transferred to field where they are grown successfully.
