THE SHAKE LIQUID CULTURE AS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO THE MULTIPLICATION OF NARCISSUS PLANTS

S. Bergoñón, C. Codina, J. Bastida, F. Viladomat, E. Melé
An attempt to multiply Narcissus plants by shake liquid culture was performed. Micropropagation of wild N. papyraceus by this method resulted in a 100 % and 68 % survival after the plantlets rooted in vitro or those directly obtained from shake liquid culture were respectively transplanted to soil.
