APERITIVE AND RARE EDIBLE SPECIES OF FLORA OF CANARY ISLANDS.

A list of species that have been used for alimentary purposes by the different inhabitants of the Canary Islands, starting with the pre-Hispanic population, is presented. The scientific study of these species would lead to the determination of possible new aromatic and alimentary properties.
