STUDY OF THE TINCTORIAL SPECIES OF FLORA OF THE CANARY ISLANDS

After a brief discussion of the importance of the tinctorial species in the history of the Canary Islands, a list in presented of 38 species that have been used as colourants in the archipelago, some of which may make a significant contribution to the insular economy.
