IRRIGATION MANAGEMENT IN PERLITE

P. Lorenzo, E. Medrano, M. García
Several watering doses have been studied in a perlite tomato crop grown in a conventional plastic house in the South East area of Spain.

We have compared the yields, we got out the three following levels of drainage: 1–10%, 10–20% and 20–30%. We also have tested irrigation doses and frequencies.

Similar results were obtained in all the treatements. However, we considered the 10–20% drainage is the easy to manage.
