INFILTRATION UNDER SURGE FURROW IRRIGATION

E. Camacho, J. Roldán, M. Alcaide
The intermittent application of water has an effect on infiltration, increasing the hydraulic gradient and at the same time, consolidating the soil. The effect of this consolidation reducing infiltration was studied for different suction pressures. Infiltration under surge furrow irrigation, using several models easy to use, was also predicted.
