NATURALLY OCCURRING PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS AND THEIR PHYSIOLOGICAL ROLES IN FRUIT TREES

L.E. Powell Jr
Plant hormones control or influence essentially every facet of plant life. Five substances, or groups of substances - auxin, gibberellins, cytokinins, abscisic acid and ethylene - act and interact in many different ways. The roles that these substances play in the regulation and development of shoots, fruits, transpiration, etc. are discussed.
