EFFECT OF CHLORMEQUAT AND CEPA ON THE RIPENING OF POME FRUITS

H. Clijsters
Chlormequat applied to apple and pear fruits at the climacteric minimum did not modify pigment formation in the peel or the respiratory activity of the ripening fruit. It did, however, interfere with the stimulating effect of CEPA on anthocyanin formation.
