HORTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN FINLAND

The paper describes the system of horticultural education in Finland. Vocational training consists of school-level training, which takes two or three years, and institute-level training, which takes two more years. At the University of Helsinki Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry one can study horticulture. The structure and the contents of the basic degree (Master's Degree) and the postgraduate degrees (Licentiate and Doctor's Degree) that can be taken there are discussed.
