THE EFFECT OF SUBSTRATE AND WATERING REGIME ON CHRYSANTHEMUM GROWN WITH SOILLESS CULTURE
The effect of different substrates (expanded clay, perlite, pumice and pumice + peat 1:1 v/v) and water regimes on cut flower production of chrysanthemum cultivated in bag culture was examined.
High quality chrysanthemum cut flowers were produced on different media and under all the irrigation regimes.
Moreover, no physiological or nutritional abnormality was observed in plants grown on any substrate and with any water supply.
