Processing tomatoes are mainly grown in Marmara and Aegean Regions which are located in the western part of Turkey. A survey study was conducted with the aim of determining some physical properties and macro and micro nutrient contents of the area soils. Mineral composition of leaf samples were also aimed to assess for the control of the fertilization. At the flowering stage, 177 soil and leaf samples were taken for a study and for another study extra 49 soil samples were examined.
