SPHAGNUM OR LOWMOOR PEAT, PINE BARK AND PINE BARK COMPOST AS A SUBSTRATE FOR GREENHOUSE CUCUMBER GROWN ON STRAW BALES

T. Pudelski
The aim of these experiments was to test the possibilities of applying straw and milling waste instead of horse manure as a heating layer and the use of lowmoor peat mixed with sphagnum peat or pine bark compost, or pine bark compost alone as a substrate for greenhouse grown parthenocarpic gherkins cv. Iwa and Skierniewicki.
