THE OBSERVATION OF BROCCOLI CURD DEVELOPOMENT CHARACTERISTICS WITH ITS BREEDING WORK INVESTIGATION

During 1990–1992, observation experiments were carried out in South china Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China to study the characteristics of plant growth and curd development of four broccoli cultivars including Li-green, Jade-crown, Tokeyo-green and Southern comel. The consecutive seed sowing dates began from August until October. The aim of breeding investigation was based on the need of production and market consumption of broccoli.
