TRITICALE REGISTER, AN ON-LINE REGISTER

The need for establishment of an International Triticale Registration Authority, and especially of a Triticale Register is briefly presented. The fully relational database upon which the information required can be generated is based on INGRES and includes also programs in PASCAL and COBOL. The system is menu driven. Many users can be accommodated simultaneously in on-line mode. Alternative output on CD-ROM and output on demand are briefly discussed.
