THE DEGREE OF CORRELATION BETWEEN MINERAL ELEMENTS AND REDUCING SUGAR IN PISTACHIOS

This study was carried out in the region of South East Anatolia. Leaf samples taken from pistachio trees budded on 2 different rootstocks were analysed for mineral elements and reducing sugar and the relationship between minerals and reducing sugar were obtained.

In addition to these the data from the investigated years, male and female trees were evaluated. Some negative and positive relations were obtained between mineral elements and reducing sugar level.
