GENETIC SPECIFICITY OF MINERAL NUTRITION OF HAZELNUT TREES

I. Miljkovic, T. Jemric
The research on the chemical composition of the leaves of hazelnut cultivars: Barcelona, Cosford, Istarski duguljasti and Tonda Romana on their own root and on the rootstock Corylus colurna was carried out using foliar analysis. It was found that the leaves of investigated cultivars had significantly higher concentration of nitrogen, potassium and magnesium on the rootstock Corylus colurna than on the own root and manganese concentration was significantly higher on the own-rooted trees. The concentration of phosphorus and calcium was similar in the leaves of the own rooted and trees on rootstock Corylus colurna. There was no significant difference among cultivars in the concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese, either in the own-rooted or trees on the rootstock Corylus colurna.
