An attempt has been made to review the factors limiting fruit production in Ghana and methods being applied by the Department of Horticulture, U.S.T., Kumasi, to solve the problems.
Training of horticulturists and field research on fruit production are the methods adopted by the U.S.T. Past and current research on fruit crops by the Department of Horticulture, U.S.T., has been outlined.
